Sadly, their age is catching up to them. They are, for the most part, home-bound. They do get out to go to church or to their children's houses for special events like holidays.
We have been planning a family reunion/90th birthday party for Gammie on Labor Day weekend. In the last few weeks, however, Gammie has gone downhill rather quickly. She has been in a rehab facility for about three weeks now with a little hospital stay thrown in.
The girls have been to the rehab facility three times now to see Gammie, and they get more and more comfortable with each visit. Gammie is scheduled to come home this Friday, so hopefully our visits with her will be even better!
