Vacation funnies

Taking pictures in Vicksburg, Mary Claire asked where vacation was; I told her we were on vacation. Her response: where is the swimming pool?

We passed by three crosses and Brian asked Mary Claire what they were. Her response: Jesus sticks!

Passing through a town: Mary Claire says I think I see a yellow M over there! (yellow M is McDonalds!)

Happy Anniversary!!

Wow, 34 years!! Way to go Nannie and Poppa John!

We love you and wish you many, many more years together!

Two funnies

Last night in the bath tub, I was trying to get Molly to say her ABCs. I said A, B, C and Molly puts her hand in my face and says "Wait!"

We were in the van going to DQ to get Blizzards last night. Mary Claire dropped her flip flop. She says, "Daddy, please you get my flip flop." Brian looks to his left, but he doesn't see it. He starts to look to his right and Mary Claire says, "Daddy, you can get it; you have big muscles!"

I forgot about Tucker's All-Star game!

Tucker made the 5 year old T-ball All-Star team! Go Tucker!! The tournament was held the weekend of June 29-30 and July 1st in Zwolle! Nannie, Poppa, the girls and I drove down for the Friday evening game. We stopped for some Mexican food and then onto the game. It was HOT!!
This is Aunt Aspen wearing Tucker's team shirt....I love the design!
Mary Claire and Nannie before the game
Poppa and Molly before
Uncle David and Anna.....Anna survived her first summer of ball!
Poppa and Mary after the game.....Tucker's team won this game, and one other. They lost two and were out of the tournament, but we were all proud of them!
Nannie and Molly afterwards
Trying to get a picture of me and my girls....this is always an adventure!

When your water shoes don't fit...

Friday Night Casino Fun!

Nannie got us two free rooms with her casino comps for last night. We brought the kids to let them eat and swim and just have a night away! Brian was working nights, and Poppa drove over just for dinner and swimming, so Nannie and I slept with Mary Claire and Molly and then Uncle David, Aunt Aspen, Tucker and Anna had a room.

We told Mary Claire all about the alligators and she was scared to death to see them! Well, by the time she saw them with Poppa, she wasn't so scared anymore! Saturday morning we got up and they had a set-up to take a picture with an alligator, so Mary Claire held the tail while Tucker held the gator's head and we got a great picture of Mary Claire, Molly, Tucker and Anna with a little alligator!

I know this picture is blurry, but I love, love, love her face!
Nannie got us rooms in the atrium! They had balconies overlooking the alligators! See Aunt Aspen, Tucker and Uncle David?!?!
After dinner, watching the Disney channel on my iPhone
The little gators
Headed to the pool

I just can't get over how grown-up she looks now. :(
Swimming, and that water was COLD!
Great picture, Poppa, but where's Momma's face??!?
There I am! (See how blue Molly's lips are?!?)
Poppa held Anna

Saturday morning on the balcony
At least Mary Claire will look at me!

For breakfast we went to Burger King....and they had an indoor playground!

Then, Saturday afternoon, much to our surprise, Mr. Buster walked over to Nannie and Poppa's and invited us to swim in his pool! We jumped at the chance and had a great 30 minutes of swimming and jumping in!

This is how I intended our weekends to happen! Too bad Daddy couldn't join us.

I had to hurry and blog about this adventure because the girls and I are going to the casino with Nannie, Uncle David and Aunt Aspen and Tucker and Anna this weekend!
