Mary Claire's First Reconciliation

Mary Claire made her First Reconciliation today!  This was her second ever sacrament, and the first of two this year!

We went to Shipley's before!  Molly said she didn't have chocolate donut on her face!  Ha!

Waiting in line

She's next!

And she's done!  Mary Claire made her First Reconciliation with Msgr. Testa, the same priest who did mine!

Saying her penance!

On May 6, she will make her First Communion!  My girls are getting too big!

Dance Pictures 2017 for Mary Claire

Mary Claire is taking ballet and tap again this year!  The recital theme this year is Disney!!

Mary Claire is part of the water in Finding Nemo for ballet and then her tap routine is Wreck-it Ralph!

Fun weekend!!

The new Beauty and the Beast movie came out Friday, so Saturday after a great soccer game, the girls and I headed to the movies!  The movie was GREAT!!

Sunday morning, after church, we headed to Forest Hill for the Nursery Festival!  The only things we bought were lunch, tickets to ride the carnival rides and this caricature of the girls!

Ferris Wheel!

Big slide!

Well, they did not end up riding the swings because the worker forgot to buckle them in!  When I realized that he was about to start the ride, I yelled for the girls to hurry and stand up and run over to me!  I thought Brian was going to kill that man.  They did not get hurt, luckily!

Roller coaster!

Cars!

Molly rode the helicopters and Mary Claire rode the carousel!

Later that afternoon, I took Molly out to Mrs. Megan and Mr. Mark Theils' farm.  She loved it!  We saw all the animals and Mrs. Megan took us on a ride all around the property!

Molly holding a baby guinea!

Petting the big cows!

Fishing with Mrs. Megan!

The day was beautiful!  I heard Mary Claire screaming, so I walked outside to this....her climbing the tree!

PRCA Rodeo at the Coliseum!

Brian and I decided to take the girls to the rodeo!  It's a great way to support our city and the newly renovated Coliseum!  The girls didn't know what to expect at all, even though we've been to a few rodeos....Amicus Club rodeo a few years ago and the Angola Prison Rodeo!

The girls ended up LOVING it and didn't want to leave!  They were so excited watching the events and anticipating what would happen next!  It was fun, but a long night as that was the night for Daylight Savings!!!  Momma was tired working her 12 hour shift the next day!!

Harlem Globetrotters!

Yesterday morning, we were so excited!  The girls braided their hair wet Saturday night and we had waves Sunday morning!  Aren't they just so pretty??

We went to 9am mass, then left immediately after to drive down to Baton Rouge for lunch and then the Harlem Globetrotters!

We ate lunch at the Capital City Grill downtown.  It was yummy, but LOUD!!

Then we drove over to the River Center for the Globetrotter game!!!  So much fun!!!

We loved how Flip climbed on top of the rim to block the shots!!

The Globetrotters won!!  Even after spotting the World All-Stars like 15 points!

We all had a blast!!  Thank you Nannie and Poppa!!
