May 20 Evening

Molly was invited to Isabelle's birthday party at Quirky Artz which was during Mary Claire's softball game.

Thank you Uncle David and Aunt Aspen for getting Molly to the party!!

Mary Claire's team was winning pretty substantially during her game, so her coach moved players around. In the third inning, Mary Claire played second base. In the fourth and final inning, she played pitcher. Poor baby was scared to death! But she did soooooo good! The last two batters of the game hit to her, she fielded the balls and threw both girls out at first! Everyone was so proud of her!!

Last day of school 2015-2016!

We started off with donuts!!

We all went to mass where Mary Claire was awarded the Bishop Graves award that was voted on by her classmates and teacher.

That afternoon Mary Claire had a Spring Concert

Mary Claire then had classroom awards.

She had Perfect Attendance, All As, some AR Reading awards and the Noodle Award for always lending a hand and keeping others afloat!

Molly was mad she didn't get awards, but she did get some glow bracelets for being a top AR Reader in her class!

OLPS May Pole

I was off Monday, May 9 for the OLPS 4th grade May Pole. Mary Claire told me I could sit with her, but when I got there, she didn't want me to! But, Molly did!

Mother's Day

We went to David and Aspen's house this year. We ate pizza, fruit and cake and ice cream! The kids played on the small water slide!

All I wanted was the ivy trimmed on our big oak tree out front. Brian has taken it to a whole new level and the whole yard got cleaned up!!!

Mary Claire's First Grade Field Trip

Mary Claire and all the other Olps first graders visited Petrus Farm for their field trip. One of three classes toured the farm while the other two classes stayed out in a huge field and played, ate lunch and took turns riding a horse.

It was HOT! And I played wiffle ball and kick ball with the kids. Mary Claire did not touch or hold any animals, but she braved it all out!

Mary Claire's first dance recital

On May 1, Nannie and I brought Mary Claire to the Tioga Auditorium for her first dance recital. Molly stayed with Poppa John and Daddy met us later.

My high school classmate, Jennifer, just happened to be at the right place at the right time - for us! She helped me do Mary Claire's hair and makeup.

Mary Claire had a girl in her class, Jaycee, who has Down Syndrome. Jaycee's grandmother gave Mary Claire this sweet book.

This is Mary Claire's ballet costume.

Mary Claire did AMAZING! I was so proud of her!!

After her ballet performance, she changed into her tap costume.

She loved all of it and we are so proud of her!

The week before at dance practice Mary Claire got her dance trophy
