Trick-or-Treat!!

The city of Alexandria moved trick or treating to Wednesday to avoid the 80% chance of thunderstorms predicted for Halloween (Thursday).  What they, I mean we, didn't plan for was that the rain started Wednesday afternoon.  Booooo - and not in a scary way!!!

As per tradition, we all met at Nannie and Poppa's to eat then go get some free candy!  Nannie cooked us some Granny Walker soup, chili and chicken salad sandwiches.

I said I wasn't going to go with a theme - but I did and it fits their current
personalities pretty well!

OLPS Trunk or Treat 2013

Since I had to work 3-11, Brian agreed to take the girls to Trunk or Treat at 3pm. He is trying to win The Dad of the Year Award - he and the girls braved the rain to get some candy!!

He said the whole way home they talked about how wet they were and which candy they would eat first!

Side note - I'm glad we decided to just wear dress up clothes and not their actual Halloween costumes since it rained!

Babysitting Anna Banana

Anna stayed with us a few hours this morning. She loved trying on Molly's shoes!!

And she loved her snack!!

Friday the girls were out of school for parent/teacher conferences. We had a long list of errands and we got them all done plus some! 

The girls and Mommy each got haircuts, but only the girls enjoyed Spoons froyo afterwards!

We enjoyed our annual visit to Anderson Farms in Leesville today to visit the pumpkin patch!  I'm really excited that we actually had fall weather this year!
