OLPS Pre-K Mardi Gras Parade 2014

Every year, the OLPS Pre-K classes create the OLPS Mardi Gras parade!  Mary Claire was so excited for this, counting down the days!

Frozen…again

We decided to treat the girls to the movies Sunday. We saw Frozen again! I really like the movie, and I can't wait for it to be released on DVD!

Mary Claire Funny

Saturday, as I was pricing stuff for an upcoming garage sale, I had told the girls to play outside and enjoy the pretty weather. They kept fighting and then wanting to help me. I finally looked at them and said, "Mommy and Daddy had you two girls so y'all could play with each other!"

Mary Claire replied, effortlessly, "Well, that didn't work out so well, did it??"

Where do they come up with this??

Valentine's Day

We woke the girls early to open their gifts; they each got a new board game, a plush owl and some candy.

After school and work, we cooked some yummy oven baked BBQ chicken, dirty rice and corn on the cob. For dessert we had angel food cake with strawberries and cool whip! It was all delicious!

After dinner, we played the new games and watched the Winter Olympics - a great family Valentine's Day!

Perfect weather for our first zoo trip of the year!

We finally got rid of the cold, ice and snow…for a few days anyway! (Supposed to have freezing rain Tuesday!)  The girls and I finally went to see the improvements at the Alexandria Zoo.

We are ready for summer!!

We cleaned out the girls' closet this morning and I let Mary Claire try on some new dresses. She was working the "runway!"

Future River Rats

Poppa John bought a camp on Black River Lake. Last weekend we rode over there and started cleaning. I have more pictures on my camera, but I wanted to go ahead and document this; hopefully the beginning of lots of fun!
