OLPS Church Back to School Luau

We had a great time! We got a free meal - hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks, desserts and slushes and sno cones! And the waterslides were fun!

I pulled it Wednesday the 24th and it came right out!!

Flower bed Reno!

We are planning to combine the girls' birthday parties this year and have a big waterslide party at our house. So I have a great excuse/reason to do some updating and such!

First up was the flower bed between the patio and driveway. 

The beginning of my work:

I shoveled out all the grass and transplanted it to an area that needed it. 

Brian helped me lay liner, plant some irises and spread rock.

Jimmie Davis State Park

Monday was the last day before school starts that Brian and I were off together, so we decided to bring the girls to Jimmie Davis State Patk in Chatham. We heard there was a splash pad at the beach, and there was! Unfortunately, splash pads and pools at state parks are closed on Mondays for maintenance. :(

But we made the most of it! The beach area was very nice, water was clear and there was a fishing pier!
