Busy, busy Saturday!

We had a full day planned for today! 

Today was the first race for the girls with the Rapides Junior Runners.  I am so proud of them!!  The official times are not yet posted, but Mary Claire ran 1/2 mile by herself in about 5:30 and Molly ran with me (holding my hand the entire time!) with a time of 7:20.

We had a great cheering squad, too!  Aunt Nel brought Brandon, Emily, Bella and Christopher.  After the race and after watching Tucker run, we headed to the circus!

We left the circus early, ate lunch at Sombrero's and then headed to Uncle David's house for Tucker's birthday party!

They are MUCH cuter on than when we opened the box!  Haha!

Lafayette and Baton Rouge for Bobby's surgery and haircuts!

Since the girls didn't have to go back to school until Wednesday, we made the trip to Lafayette to sit with Darlene during Bobby's surgery.  It was a LONG day, but the girls were really good considering they are only 2 and 4!

We are glad to report that so far, the surgery has been a success! 

After the surgery, we drove to Aunt Nel's house in Walker, spent the night so Nannie and I could get our hair cut the next day. 

It was a long two days, but it was some good girl time!

We saw Planes!  It was a cute movie (what I saw of it....three trips to the bathroom!!)!  The girls were good, but that was an expensive afternoon!!

First day of school afterparty

Okay, I've got about a week's worth of pictures and events to catch up on! 

Daddy was out of town for the first day of school, so Nannie and I picked the girls up, stopped at day care so Ms. Brigette could see Molly in her uniform, and then headed to Spoons for some yummy frozen yogurt!

 When Poppa John got off work, we went to eat at Smackin' Mac's, and then went to see Gammie.

I received this great email from Mary Claire's teacher, Mrs. Donna, Friday afternoon. 

After school, Mary Claire opened her backpack and folder and showed me this  picture she drew:
