Grant Christmas Tree Farm!

Nannie, Mary Claire, Molly and I tagged along with Uncle David, Aunt Aspen, Tucker and Anna to the Grant Christmas Tree Farm yesterday.  It was past Elizabeth, Louisiana - a long way!  And I didn't check the weather, so we were all pretty chilly!!!

Aunt Aspen was looking for a snowman shaped tree, but they were all sold out.  They bought a tree, we had hot chocolate and ballpark food and then Nannie and I left with the girls - we were cold!

Louisiana Renaissance Festival

Yesterday morning we drove to Hammond, LA for the Louisiana Renaissance Festival!  Daddy was supposed to go, but didn't because he didn't feel well.  We met Uncle Mike, Aunt Billie, Hayden and Aunt Billie's sister, Sarah there.

The first show we watched was a juggler!

We then watched a Falconry Show; it had falcons, hawks, owls and peregrines!

Molly rode the Sea Dragon!

We then watched the Jousting show!  Our side won!!

Lastly, as we were eating lunch on a bench, Will Shakespeare, a performer, began one of his shows, Macbeth!  Poppa John was the King!

Mary Claire and Molly were the kings sons, Malcolm and The Other One!

We had a great time!

Flu shot champs!!

These girls are proof that getting shots does get easier! Molly went first and said, "Ouch!" Mary Claire went next and didn't utter a sound!!

Both girls earned all As on their report cards! They chose to go see a movie!!  They each got $1 for each A!
