We visited Anderson Farms for the 7th year in a row yesterday!!  It's always a fun time, and this year we got snocones and frozen lemonade! Yum!!

Vacation 2017

We took our big family vacation this year the week the girls were out for Easter break!  We flew from Alexandria to Phoenix, AZ and rented a car.  From the airport, we drove to Sedona, AZ to see the Red Rock Mountains.  In Sedona, we stopped at a Red Rock Ranger Center, visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross, and hiked a little trail.

After staying in Sedona for the night, we drove to the Grand Canyon!!!!  This was AMAZING!!!!

Easter Sunday, we got up and went to mass at El Critso Rey, a catholic chapel within the Grand Canyon!

 

 

We left the Grand Canyon and drove 8+ hours to Anaheim!  The drive was not bad until we hit right outside Anaheim and we creeped along for hours it seemed!  Before we got out of Arizona, we stopped at Williams, AZ, a little town along Route 66.  We ziplined on these cool cars!

Our first day in Anaheim, we went to Huntington Beach! It was beautiful, but the water was COLD!!

 

We even met a surfer who let us "use" his surf board!  He also took a family picture for us!

Hard to tell, but there were close to 100 surfers out there!

Monday evening we drove to Disneyland!!

Disneyland is MUCH smaller than Disney World! But I'm glad we went!

Thursday we drove back to Phoenix and flew home on Friday! We had an amazing trip!!!
