Yesterday....

our baby turned 9 (nine, really, already?!?!) months old! Pretty soon I'll be counting her age in years instead of months! Oh, where does the time go?? Anyway, these pictures were from last night after her bath and before bed....enjoy!

I know the lighting is off, but this one shows off her eyes amazingly well! Those cheeks....I just love them!

Mary Claire update

Mary Claire is now 8 months 2 weeks! I can't believe it! Where does the time go???

Just for an update on what Mary Claire does and doesn't do so far:

1. No crawling....no desire to. A few times she has gone from sitting up to all fours, but that is it. When we put her on her hands and knees she just smiles and rocks back and forth until she's had enough and plops forward.

2. She does wave (used to be waving "bye-bye," but now it happens at odd times!), clap, say "Mamamama," hold her own bottle, love her formula, eat some "finger foods" like beans, peas, puffs, crackers, and Cheerios.

3. She does NOT like anything to drink other than her formula! (Story - this past weekend was Mary Claire's very first stomach virus....all I can say is yuck and poor baby and Mommy....I kind of panicked Saturday night after a bout of vomiting and called the on-call doctor who just happened to be Mary Claire's pediatrician...he said to alternate her formula with Ped*alyte, but I had tried that....so he said try G*torade. I tried everything....different flavors of G*torade, water, watered-down Sprite, and apple juice! The girl will not drink anything other than her formula! I guess she will at least be healthy!)

4. Mary Claire LOVES looking at herself in a mirror. As soon as she sees herself she starts talking and clapping and waving! It is too cute!

5. And as evident from the top picture....she still sleeps with us and I LOVE it! Never thought I'd be a co-sleeping Mama, but I am!
