Mary Claire's Art Exhibit
At the beginning of the summer, Mary Claire attended art camp at River Oaks.
Today was their art exhibit. Super proud of this girl!

Supper with Uncle Jim
Uncle Jim called and said he would be driving through tonight on his way back home to Florida. So Uncle David planned for us to all meet at Robbie G's. We had a nice supper and wonder when we will see him again!!

Houston Astros at Texas Rangers - First MLB Game
Yesterday, we drove to Arlington, Texas to bring Mary Claire and Molly to their first baseball game. We got a room at the Sheraton that was within walking distance to the ballpark. It was also across from Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor! 
The pool was only 2 and 3 feet all around!

The girls and I went swimming when we got to the hotel so daddy could rest some more after working Monday and Tuesday nights.

The girls lasted about two hours before they kept asking when we were leaving. Mean Momma made us wait until the seventh inning stretch and we sang Take Me Out to the Ballgame!!
Menard Dance Camp July 27-30

They loved it! It was nice to have a summer camp at the end of the summer.

We had a good trip! It was very hot the last day and the girls had had enough; there was lots of complaining and bickering!! I was glad we had only done four days being in July and hot. We did get to ride much more than I thought we would at this time of the year. Nannie doesn't think we should do the table service dining plan again; I don't have a preference.

We saved the Kali River Rapids as our last ride because we knew we would get soaked!
We ended this day early and enjoyed the pool and waterslide at our resort.
After the pool, we ate supper at the resort's restaurant.
