Staycation Day 7
My last day off. I'm so sad. I could totally be a stay at home mom and housewife!!
We played hooky from OLPS VBS and slept late! It felt so good!!
We then met Emily, Brandon, Isabella, Christopher and Aunt Nel at the splash pad and park in Jena!
Tonight at VBS at HOW we had crazy socks day!!
As I was walking while the girls were at VBS, I got so sad thinking about having to go back to work. Poor Mary Claire was crying at bedtime when she realized I go back to work. We have sure had some FUN days!! I'm glad to be going down to 32 hours per week!

Staycation Day 6
Day 6 started out with VBS at OLPS again. (I think we might skip tomorrow; the girls are tired and we are going to sleep late!)
I picked the girls up early and we headed to a surprise - Chuck E Cheese with Emily, Isabella, Brandon, Christopher, Tucker and Anna!!
The girls stayed with Aunt Aspen and then Uncle David while I went to my doctor's appointment.
We then headed to VBS at HOW with some crazy hair!!
I'm sad that tomorrow is my last day off with the girls. We are heading to Jena to go to the splash pad with our Baton Rouge cousins!

Staycation Day 5
We started the day back at OLPS for VBS.
We came home, ate lunch and rested and then went to Little Cakes for yummy
cupcakes and cookies!
We then drove through the carwash and Daddy tried to vacuum our hair!!!
We ended the night back at VBS at HOW for backwards day!! Molly answered the first question correctly to win a special prize, too!

And, the best part is that my house is finally CLEAN!! Now I get to mow tomorrow!

Staycation Day 4
Day 4 was a LONG day! We started with VBS at OLPS from 8a-12p.
Next up was our first ever gymnastics class! Molly seems to be a natural; Mary Claire has to work a bit harder it seems. My heart hurt watching her try and try and just not quite get it and the instructors not really giving her much help or attention. A really nice other instructor helped Mary Claire a little bit and offered to do private lessons! Hopefully that will get her doing cartwheels! She did finally figure out how to do a flip, though!

We then had a girls' lunch at Los Portales! Yummy!!
We ended the day with VBS at Aunt Aspen and Uncle David's church!
I think Day 5 might be a bit quieter!
