At Outlaws Thursday for her actual birthday

Now where's my cake???

Yummy!

This is MY cake, Tucker!

Poppa John gave Molly some icing!

Hey, I wasn't done with that cake!
We had a great time at Anna's birthday party - swimming and sliding!  Happy birthday Anna!!  We love you!

OLPS Trek for Tech 2013

This morning OLPS held their third annual Trek for Tech.  This is a fundraiser for the technology department at OLPS; I think it is a great fundraiser as all of this technology IS our future!

The girls ran the Block Run.  Mary Claire ran the block in 1:50.  I'm really hoping to sign her up for the Rapides Junior Runners come this fall.  I think running is a great form of exercise!  I "ran" the Block Run with Molly; she wanted me to hold her hand most of the way, then she got tired and I carried her a few feet until the finish chute, and then she ran through the finish line alone!  I think it was about 3:45.

I ran the 5K.  My time was 28:19...ten seconds slower than the Wounded Warrior run in March, but I haven't been running on the treadmill near as often, it was much more humid, and I ran alone.  But, I'll take it!  I'm just glad I can do it in under 30 minutes!

Talking to Emma

Love making these memories with my girls

Daddy was our #1 Cheerleader!

So proud of Mary Claire...she just took right off!

Molly was a little more timid at first

My big girl at the finish line!

I'm telling Molly to run through the red finish line, and Mary Claire is showing me her medal!

This girl and I "out-chicked" those three guys...HAHA!

A Molly Funny

Molly and Mary Claire finger-painted yesterday afternoon. I left their papers outside to dry. When Molly got home today, she asked Brian to go outside and get her pay-pas (papers).  When she saw that the wind had blown them off the chairs, she told Brian, "Oh no, Daddy, they woo-ind (ruined)!"

Alligator chicken

We went to Tunk's last night with Nannie, Poppa, Uncle David, Aunt Aspen, Anna, Mr. Chuck and Mr. Bill Duncan.

Mary Claire ate fried alligator. We initially told her it was chicken, she tasted it, like it and ate three more pieces!

When Brian got home, she told him she had eaten "alligator chicken!"

Mother's Day picture

Molly gets a real haircut!

We brought Molly to Dixon and Company to get her hair cut.  She was a little timid at first, but her hair looks much better!
