One of Nannie’s cousins was in town visiting at Aunt Nel’s. We drove out for supper and the girls had fun riding 4 wheelers with Poppa John!

Angela’s wedding

Angela, a new pharmacist I work with, invited us to her wedding. Brian had to work nights, so the girls and I went.

The girls had a blast with Tina and Scott! And glow sticks!!

Girls on the Run 5k

Mary Claire and I ran the 5k in 31 minutes! She walked just a little bit, but she did great!!

Girls on the Run 2017 - Mary Claire

Mary Claire had her practice 5k for Girls on the Run on Thursday November 2. She did fantastic!! She came in 2nd behind a 5th grader who runs a lot. And, she even stopped to use the restroom! We are excited for the “real” 5k on November 11!

Pumpkin carving and s’mores party!

We hosted Nannie and Poppa John for a pumpkin carving and s’mores party the weekend before Halloween! We invited uncle David and his family, but they already had plans. Maybe they can come next year!

Mary Claire was assigned a project to decorate a fake pumpkin and write a narrative about it. She decorated hers as a cactus! She didn’t win the contest, but hers was very pretty!
