Cruise Day 2 June 30

This was an at sea day, so not much going on except formal night at dinner!

The show that night was the best of the whole cruise. We sat on the second row and loved every minute of it!

Cruise Day 1 June 29

David and his family met up with us late Thursday evening. Friday morning before heading to the cruise terminal, some of us walked to the Space Needle.

The Seattle police department was at the Space Needle with the last leg of the Special Olympics Torch Run - so neat to see!




We then headed down to the cruise terminal!

We bought a picture package, so we took lots of pictures through the cruise line. 

Dinner the first night-

Seattle Day 2 continued

After the aquarium, we walked down to Pier 57; this is where Seattle’s big Ferris wheel is! We debated riding the Ferris wheel until we saw a ride called Wings over Washington. We ultimately rode this which was a ride very similar to Soarin’ at Disney world! Wings over Washington was a ride over great sites of Washington state!

After that, we headed back to the hotel to wait on Nannie and Poppa!  Just random pictures we took on our walk - 

When Nannie and Poppa got there, we walked BACK down to Pier 57 to eat. 

We ate at a seafood restaurant (can’t remember its name - The Crab Pot???)

Back at the hotel, the hotel was having a party to celebrate the fact that renovation was complete and we got a free caricature!








We walked over 11.5 miles that day!

Seattle Day 2

Day 2 started out on foot heading to the Seattle waterfront.

We found Olympic Sculpture Park!

We then headed the other way to Pike Place Market. The girls hated the fish smell! 🤭

On the way to the market we ran into the Gum Wall!

The market was interesting!

We stopped and got chocolate!

We then headed to the Seattle Aquarium!
