Mary Claire went to the doctor today for the first time. She has gained 2oz since being home. When she left the hospital her discharge weight was 9lbs 4oz, so she is now 9lbs 6oz. I was hoping it would be a little bit more than that, but Dr. Clark didn't seem concerned in the least bit. Everything else looked good, so it was a pretty short appointment. She goes back at 2 months for her shots.....boo.....I'm not looking forward to that!
Dr. Clark did tell us that to help her sleep better at night for us to wake her up every three hours during the day to feed her and then let her sleep at night. So we will be trying that. I hope it works because last night I didn't get to sleep until 4am! I'm exhausted today! Brian and Papa John are going hunting this afternoon, so I plan on napping with Mary Claire after her 2pm bottle.
Check back later for pictures. Mary Claire and I will be going with Nannie to run a few errands this afternoon, so I hope to get some pics then.

I just learned about the blog today...I missed seeing her when ya'll were here in the hospital...she's beautiful...hope you are okay, too...can't wait to show Shelby tonight...she asked just yesterday about you and the baby.
