Two big days!

Mary Claire had two big days yesterday and today. Yesterday Mary Claire, Mommy and Nannie went out to eat Mexican food. Mary Claire didn't seem interested at all...she slept the whole time! We then all went to visit Aunt Judy and Uncle Tab and they thought she was just so beautiful! Oh yeah, while we were gone, Daddy and Papa John went hunting on Papa John's hunting lease.....and Daddy killed a 6 point! Go Daddy! Guess Mommy will have to learn how to eat deer meat, huh???

So today Daddy went hunting in the morning with Uncle Mike. They got back about 10:00 this morning and we all got ready to go. We met Nannie and Papa John at Logan's for lunch. The food was good, but once again we got such poor service. We NEVER have good service at Logan's anymore. Anyway, back to Mary Claire....we then left Logan's and brought her to Nannie and Papa John's house where she stayed for about 2 hours while Mommy and Daddy went to watch Taylor (Bubba) run his race and then make a quick trip to Wal-Mart. Nannie gave us a good report! We then headed home.

For those reading/following....does anyone have any advice to help Mary Claire with her gas pain? It kills me to see her in pain and not be able to do anything about it! We finally got some generic Mylicon drops and have given her one dose. They seem to be working as she finally went to sleep after squirming and screaming for about 15 minutes. I've tried massaging her little belly and doing the bicycle motion with her legs. Any other suggestions??? We asked her pediatrician about it being the formula, but he said it was too soon to tell. What else could it be???? She has been burping good with these past few bottles, but the gas is still there.
Mary Claire is finally learning to enjoy her swing.....

Mommy wanted me to have a crocheted beanie hat, so Nannie went on a mission.....and found one! She found it at Sweet Dreams, the cute little baby boutique. And the lady there is going to make her a pink one, too! Yay!
