When we got to the airport, the girls were given boogie boards to enjoy at the beach! In return, when we finished with the boogie boards, we passed them on to another family!
Savannah was lots of walking! We ended up taking a trolley tour to see everything.
For dinner that night, we had reservations at Paula Deen’s restaurant Lady & Sons!
The next morning, we got up early to go to 8am mass at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. When we got there, the usher asked us to bring up the gifts! What an honor!
A few sights we saw on our walks to and from mass:
We checked out of our hotel at lunch time and went and ate at The Pirate’s House!
After lunch, we walked down to River Street and saw the Olympic Cauldron Statue and the Savannah Waving Girl statue.
We ended up having time to kill, so we decided to drive to Tybee Island, a beach on the Atlantic coast of Georgia.
