I worked day shift Sunday, July 5. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 5:55pm. Of course, it was late. We had decided to just pack in carry-on suitcases. When our plane finally left heading toward Atlanta, we were informed we would be flying around some bad weather, flying up to Arkansas and around! When we landed in Atlanta, we had thirty(!) minutes until our next flight! We ran!! The girls and I turned the corner to our gate with Nannie a little ways behind us, and the gate attendant says we can't board because it's time to shut the door! I was dumbfounded!! A minute later Nannie rounds the corner and then two more ladies; they agree to let us on our flight!! We were happy, but exhausted!!
