We changed our agenda a little bit when we learned of the chance of rain in New Orleans over the weekend, so we drove straight in to the zoo. This turned out to be the best idea because it had just rained when we got to the zoo and it was cool! I love family pictures with my girls and Brian, even if the girls aren't looking! We saw some animals that our local zoo just doesn't have!
The cool off station! I think we all went through it a couple of times because the sun came out!
The zoo has an amazing splash pad/mini waterpark for the kids. We paid for everyone to get in except for Brian, but Molly wanted nothing to do with it. She actually went back to Brian and they hung out....but isn't she so cute in her swimsuit??
I am so surprised by Mary Claire these days!! She is willing to try almost anything and she had a blast on all of the slides! I only got her picture on this one because it was the closest one to where I was sitting.
We had a wonderful time! It is so amazing to experience things with children; it makes you really appreciate the small things that make them happy.
