Fighting

I have seriously had enough. My girls are only 3 1/2 and almost 2 and they fight constantly!! When will it give?!?! I know I've posted about this before, but this last weekend was terrible.

Just last night we had two major fights - one over a golf ball and the other over a plastic ruler. Seriously????

Once again, this happened on a weekend when I'm single parenting for 12 hours each day. (Kudos to ALL single parents out there!!) then yesterday when Brian was home and the girls were fighting, I had had enough and started yelling. He doesn't understand my frustration at all; he doesn't have them for 12 hours alone ever because I only work 8 hour shifts.

Don't get me wrong, I love my girls!!

Also, Nannie and Poppa help out a lot on the weekends! But I feel as if I am burdening them sometimes, especially this past Sunday. I knew that my mom wanted to go to the casino and that my dad needed to work, plus the girls just weren't listening, so we left. Mary Claire cried herself to sleep in the car and Molly fell asleep on her own. I did have a quiet 3 hours, but then all hell broke lose and the girls were fighting again!

This all goes back to having two children of the same sex. Nothing is "theirs;" they have to share everything. I told Brian that I guess we are going to have to start buying two of everything and labeling stuff with the girls' names on them.

I would LOVE any advice!! Help me!! I thought having two of the same sex this close together would mean that they would play nicely with each other.…what a fool I was.
