Wow...just wow!

After reading this, I all I have to say is....wow.



This really hit home with me. But, my brother's comment to me a couple of weeks ago had already opened my eyes to this. David said, "How do you have time to play with your kids if you're always on your phone?" How true he was! I've severely cut back my phone games around my girls, but I confess I still play them.



I did not have a "smart phone" for a loooong time and I held out as long as I could. Do I love it? Yes! Do I hate it? Yes!



I love the "funness" of it. I REALLY love the camera on it; for a phone camera the I-phone takes really good pictures and it's so convenient! I love how my girls can play and learn on it; they have their own screen of games/activites just for them!



I hate it because like the blogger and my brother both said - it takes away from "people time."



I confess that I will not give it up altogether; there are times when my girls are playing happily together or with their dad or brother and I just new a few minutes of "me time" playing Words with Friends or Draw Something. I HAVE cut back a lot of my playing when my girls are with me and plan on cutting back even more.



Watch out Lent 2013.....I know what I'm giving up!
