Thirty two!

Wow! How can I be thirty two years old, but still feel like a young spring chicken? :)

Seriously, I do not feel 32!

For my birthday, I took the day off and we kept the girls home. We ran a couple of errands in the morning, then went home and I packed us a quick picnic lunch. We then drove to Dodson, Louisiana to see the daffodil field. I was sorely disappointed in the field. There were some blooms, but not enough to "Wow!" me. We ate our picnic lunch and then tried to get some good pictures of the girls, but no such luck; the girls were just not having it! I was disappointed in just about the whole thing - very little flowers and then my girls were not cooperative at all!

For supper we ate at Nannie and Poppa's. Poppa fried fish that everyone raved over, but Brian and I didn't eat any because we gave up fried foods for Lent. Brian made some shrimp fettuccine alfredo that was really good, but really spicy! Vince joined us, along with David and Aspen and baby Anna. Nannie had made, at my request, peanut butter pie and strawberry cake....YUMMY!!!

All in all, it was a good day!

Thirty two feels great!
