Seriously, when does the fighting stop??!?!?
My girls are 22.5 months apart and they fight like cats and dogs. When one has something (it could be a piece of trash!), the other girl wants it....doesn't matter what it is! When I'm holding one girl, the other girl is screaming and crying because I'm not holding her! I just don't know what it is!
My cousin (Hi, Rob!) and I were talking about this the one of the first days Poppa was in the hospital. Rob has two boys and I have two girls. We were talking about this very issue, and Rob, very astutely, reminded me that I have TWO GIRLS - two kids of the same sex. What he meant by this was that there are no set boundaries as to whose toys are whose. How true he was! I mean, when one girl gets something it becomes free territory; there is no, "Ewww, that's a boy toy!" or "Ewww, that's just for girls!" because all the toys we have are considered 'girl toys.'
I guess I'm just wondering....does the fighting ever really stop?
And I'm also wondering.....how does one go about setting "toy boundaries??"
Any suggestions or thoughts??
