We celebrated with making cupcakes in ice cream cones on the evening of the 3rd. I thought they were ingenious....you eat the whole thing and no paper mess to peel off! I think I'm going to try to make some for Molly's birthday party. We bought Daddy the complete season of The Tudors on DVD. On the 4th we went to eat at Copeland's with Nannie and Poppa John, David, Aspen and Tucker and Aunt Nel and Johnny. We then went to Nannie's for some strawberry "poke" cake....yummy!! After, we headed off (in the middle of Tropical Storm Lee) to Gammie's to visit with Uncle Thomas, Aunt Belinda, Kelsey and Keenan. Mary Claire and Molly spent the night with Nannie and Poppa John. (Also....Happy Birthday Poppa Hurley! Sorry we couldn't make it to your party....Mom had to work!)
