I want to be a better.....

wife.
mother.
daughter.
Catholic.
pray-er.
sister.
blogger.

I don't do a baby book for my girls, so I want to be better at blogging to hopefully keep up with their milestones. You can turn your blog into a book these days, so maybe that will be my incentive.

Mary Claire is such a big girl these days. It amazes me daily the stuff she does and says. Motherhood is amazing! I feel so proud when I think of all the things Mary Claire knows (but, sadly, it is day care teaching her....I love the girls' day care!). She is fully potty-trained; I was so impressed with her "pottying abilities" this past weekend because she had her first round of diarrhea and had NO accidents! She knows her letters, numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week, months of the year, a couple of songs, the prayer before meals, how to say the Sign of the Cross, and just so much more I can't even think of right now.

Molly is so sweet....at times! She is going through a period of wanting to be held ALL THE TIME right now and it gets tiring. She is 11 months 1 week and took a couple of unassisted steps yesterday! She's not close to being a "walker" just yet, but she's getting there! She is so unlike Mary Claire in many ways. She gets into EVERYTHING! She has unrolled a few toilet paper rolls, played in the toilet water, pulled dishes out of the dishwasher and gotten into the bathroom cabinets numerous times! She is finally sleeping great at night....I think we've found the secret, but shhhh.....don't tell her it's an earlier bedtime!

I am really amazed at how well-adjusted my girls are with Brian and me working shift work. I guess they have no choice, really!
