Mary Claire's "tricks!"

So here's a few things that Mary Claire is doing at 9.5 months:

~She CAN crawl! Brian and I both witnessed this yesterday....she crawled across the living room rug!

~She says "Mama," "Dada," and "Uh-oh!" The "uh-oh" is so stinking cute, but is slowly starting to get old....and here's why: Mary Claire says this appropriately. She will take her pacifier out of her mouth and drop it or throw it and, without any prompting, says "uh-oh!" She also does this with toys in the car or items she's playing with in the buggy!

~She waves bye-bye! She had just been using her whole arm, but now she will use her fingers and kind of curl them and wave to herself!

~I finally caught her blowing kisses last night and this morning! Nannie and Daddy had witnessed this previously, but I just saw it for the first time(s)!

~She pulls herself up to her knees....so cute to see 8 little fat fingers and just her face over the coffee table.

~She claps when someone sings "Pat-a-cake" or "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!" She will also clap when she hears "yay!"

~She will eat any kind of table food, and eats only table food at day care. We are lucky in that she will still eat baby food we feed her if we don't have something appropriate for her to eat.

~I know this may be a little far-fetched, but about 95% of the time she can pick out the letter A. She can also repeat "A" when she wants to!

~She can (amazingly fast I must admit) go from laying on her belly to sitting up.

It is so amazing to think of how much Mary Claire has learned in just 9.5 months! I am excited to see what new things she learns in the next few months and years. Keep amazing me baby girl!
