hopefully!
Brian and I have officially decided to move from one side of the river (
Pineville) to the other (Alexandria)! We have put our house on the market and put a contingent contract (contingent upon our house selling within 60 days) on a house in a very big and nice neighborhood in Alexandria. So, needless to say, we have been
crazy busy trying to get our house ready for potential buyers to view and looking at houses in Alexandria. If anyone knows of anyone looking for a practically brand-new house (built in 2007) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in
Pineville, send them our way! Brian informed me just an hour and a half ago that the realtor called him and she is possibly showing our house Saturday!
Mary Claire has been busy, too, being
dragged carried around looking at houses and signing contracts (us, not her!). She loves all the orange vegetables (squash, carrots and sweet potatoes), but does not like the green ones (sweet peas and green beans). She has eaten green beans a few times, but the last time we tried to feed her those she just was not having them! The only fruit I can get her to eat really well is pears, but we haven't tried the applesauce in a while. Mary Claire has been sleeping great! She sleeps for about 4 hours in her bed, and when she wakes up we go get her and put her in bed with us (I know, I know) and sleeps another 3 or 4 hours. She also sleeps on her side now. She still rolls from tummy to back and is still working on the other way. She is about to outgrow her bathtub! She sits up in it on the "toddler" side like a big girl! I've been looking for one of those round plastic seats that you set in the bottom of the big tub for her to sit in to bathe, but I can't find one! Mary Claire LOVES the bubbles in her bath now, too. She sits up and plays with them and kicks her feet in them....it is just too cute! Mary Claire is wearing size 9month up to size 12month clothes! Her favorite past-times are now gnawing on anything and everything she can get in her mouth and blowing spit bubbles! How cute! What is not cute is her fighting sleep in the evenings. When Brian or I pick her up from day care in the afternoons (around 3:30pm), we will only get one (if we are lucky) 30 minute nap from her until her bedtime! And she is fussy and whiny the WHOLE time! Guess she doesn't want to miss anything! I think that about sums up what is going on with Miss Mary Claire. I plan on posting pictures tomorrow on her FIVE MONTH birthday! I can't believe my baby is 5 months old already!
Please keep us in your prayers with our house situations. We are completely in love with the new one and just are hoping and praying that ours will sell within the allotted time frame.
